How much does it cost to join?+
Nothing. Sign-up, profile creation, and verification are all free. We take a 10% platform fee from each completed job — and only when you’re paid. No upfront costs, no monthly fees.
When do I actually get paid?+
When the poster taps "Confirm & release" after the job. Funds land in your CitiTasker wallet immediately and you can withdraw to your Nigerian bank any time — usually within 24 hours.
What if a poster doesn’t pay or disappears?+
Once you start work, payment is already locked in escrow. If the poster goes quiet, an automatic release fires after 72 hours of completed work. If they raise an unfair dispute, our team mediates with evidence from both sides.
Can I work as an agency or with a team?+
Yes — register an Agency account during sign-up. You can manage multiple workers, bid as the agency on bigger jobs, and track team earnings centrally.
Why isn’t my bid being accepted?+
The strongest profiles share three things: verified status, a complete portfolio with real photos of past work, and 5+ early reviews. Your trust score and response rate also push you up the ranking.
Can I work remotely?+
Absolutely. Posters can mark a job as "Remote / online" — perfect for tutoring, design, writing, virtual assistance and dispatch coordination.
